. Doyle Lawson Huddleston, 55, of 520 S. 27th, died about 4 a.m. today in Osteopathic Hospital where he had been a patient for the last four weeks. He had been ill for the last four months. Huddleston was born Aug. 20, 1920, in Anona, Tex., and had moved here from Texas 35 years ago. He had been employed by Sibley Machine and Foundry Co. since moving to South Bend. On July 27, 1974, in Mishawaka, he married Donna Mae Ewald, who survives.
. Also surviving are two sons, Norman L. and William D. Huddleston, both of New Carlisle; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara King, Hawley, Tex.; Mrs. Joelene Cranmer, Fort Worth, Tex.; Miss Brenda Huddleston, Fort Worth, and Miss Shelley Lynn Huddleston, at home; two stepsons, Dale W. Ewald, South Bend, and Richard P. Ewald, South Bend, six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Eisenhuth, Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Willie Weeks, Strawn, Tex., and a brother, Clyde Huddleston, Chickasha, Okla. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel. Huddleston was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1161, and the United Auto Workers Local 183 at Sibley. He was a veteran of World War II.
