Albert Henry Baum, 78, of 430 Longview Pl., died at 8:55 p.m. yesterday in Decatur & Macon Co. Hospital.
Born 15Nov1873, in Breckenridge, KY, he was the son of William B. & Mildred Baum. He married Maude Day 25Jan1899, in Clover Point, KY.
Baum came here in 1920 from KY. He was a member of the Christian Church.
He worked for the Polar Ice Company 12 years & retired after being employed by the Mueller Company in World War II.
Besides his wife he leaves 2 daughters, Mrs. Reba Cones & Mrs. Mabel Carrington, both of Peoria; 6 sons, Walter of Gary, IN; & Chester, Marvin, Wilbur, Delmar & Floyd of Decatur; 3 brothers, Moses, Bryant & Allen of Decatur; 17 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.
The body is in the J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Graceland cemetery.
