Howard B. Goodwin, 77, died at his home south of the village in Danby township this (Thursday) morning. Funeral arrangements had not been made when this issue went to press.
Deceased was a son of the late Charles Goodwin Sr., and was born in Portland township.
He had lived on the farm where his death occurred for many years. Mrs. Goodwin died three years ago, and for the past several months Mr. Goodwin had failed rapidly.
There are five children: Mrs. Charles Beard, Mrs. Earl, Teachout, Charles and Howard Goodwin Jr., of Portland, and Mrs. Nick Esch, Lansing, Edward L. and Rolla Goodwin are brothers, and one sister, Mrs. Ida Mills, lives in Lansing.
