Marie E. Stone, 96, of Decatur died 5:55 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 27, 1996) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Stone was born in Randolph on July 8, 1900, the daughter of Milton E. and Daisy Morrison Adams. She married Oscar R. Stone in 1923. He preceded her in death in 1968. She is survived by her son, William Stone and wife Inge of Quincy, Calif.; daughters, Stella Helms and husband Earl of Pinetop, Ariz.; Jeanine Howard of Yuba City, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Rose Stone of Decatur; sister, Helen Daniels of Bath; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, five brothers and three sisters.
