Daughter of Willard and Abigail (Cotton) Hall. She was baptized at the First Congregation Church in Wesford, MA, on June 30, 1745.
1st married Benjamin Whiting. They wed in Portsmouth, NH, on Sept. 9, 1770.

Burpee, Nov. 14, 1782 - Feb 4, 1824
Her gravestone record says she died October 10 1781 age 38 but this has to be inaccurate because she married Burpee Ames in May of 1782 and had a child in November 1782 according to Town records. Death date has to be after November 1782 and before April 1784 when her husband married Hannah Pool Cumings. And was she thirty eight? She was married to Benjamin Whiting by 1772 probably between the ages of twenty to twenty five. Burpee was born in 1758; he married Grace when he was twenty five; at thirty seven she would have been twelve years older than he. It is more likely that she was about thirty three at her death. But Burpee Ames may have been so interested in her property that her age didn't matter.
