Shelbyville, Ind., Feb 26--- The marriage of Miss Hazel Laverne Lisher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Lisher and Clyde W. Spurlin of this city was a charming event and one of much interest to Shelbyville society circles.

Mrs. Hazel L. Spurlin, 76, 19 W. Mechanic Street, died suddenly at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at her home. She had been in failing health for three years.
Born here, Nov. 6, 1900, the daughter of Arie and Julia (Bass) Lisher, she was married Feb. 23, 1924 to Clyde W. Spurlin, who survives.
A brother preceded in death.
Mrs. Spurlin was a lifelong Shelbyville resident.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m Saturday at the Ewing Mortuary with the Rev. James Horner officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday.
