Oberlin- Dec.29, Funeral services were held Friday morning at St. Joan of Arc Catholic church for J.D. Marcantel, 61, who died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident Tuesday.Burial rites were ready by Father Otto Jud.
Mr. Marcantel is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther Reed Marcantel, three daughters, Mrs. Luke Coburn of Philip, Tx., Mrs Dan Creasap of New Orleans, and Mrs. Jerome Hayes of New Orleans, four sisters Mrs. Agnes David, Oberlin, Mrs. Lee Johnson, Grant, Mrs. Elda Rider, Mamou and Mrs.Zoes Bertrand, Oberlin, five brothers, Emile and Sastan of Oberlin,
Darcenus, Silas and Edmond of Oakdale, and his father Ozema Marcantel of Oberlin.
