Obituary in The Bienville Democrat March 15, 1973:

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 10 at Conger Chapel for Dr. Harvey E. Morrow, who died Thursday. The Rev. Rod Taylor officiated as was assisted by the Rev. Larry Joyner. Interment under the direction of Conger Funeral Home was at Mount Lebanon Cemetery where Masonic rites were held. Pallbearers were Newton Forrest, D.D. Morrow, C.H. Thurmond, Preston Rogers, Otha Johnson, James Morrow, John Paul Fields, and Mead Shaw.

Dr. Morrow was born July 3, 1887 in Allen Parish, the son of John Bryant Morrow and Harriet Elizabeth Houston Morrow. Dr. Morrow graduated from Tulane University College of Dentistry in 1911 and was engaged in the practice of Dentistry in Louisiana until his retirement in 1965. He was honored at the university in 1961 and awarded a fifty year diploma. He received a fifty year certificate as a member of both the Louisiana and American Dental Association which qualified him to be a life member. Other fifty year milestones in his life were awards from the Masonic Lodge and recognition of active service as a Steward in the Methodist Church. He was a member of the Gibsland Lions Club and the Mt. Lebanon Historical Society.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Helen Stall Morrow; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Newman of Mt. Lebanon, Mrs. Elizabeth Eubank of Atlanta Georgia, and Mrs. Eva Connell of Minden; four sisters, Mrs. D.A. Forrest of Winnfield, Mrs. Crawford Johnson of Hineston, Mrs. Allie Roberts of Derby Kansas, and Mrs. Clarence Johnson of Grant; a brother, J.M. Morrow of Elizabeth; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
