Jack Amos, age 81, of Mountain Home, formerly of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday August 19, 2011 at Pine Lane Nursing Center in Mountain Home. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on December 07, 1929 to Charles Arthur Amos and Alice Matilda (Garrison) Amos.

Jack was a veteran of the United States Army where he served in the Korean War. He was a farmer most of his life.

His parents, one brother, Billy Joe Amos and one sister, Ramona Lee Amos Stokes, precede Jack in death.

He is survived by one sister, Betty Zoe Amos Sorenson.

Arrangements are by Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas.

Graveside services for Jack R. Amos will be 2:00 PM Sunday August 20, 2011 at Marshall Memorial Gardens in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. David Watts officiating.
