Welcome K. Bennett is buried in the field on his property. Until early 1970s, his and his wife's stones were erected and under 3 trees in the pasture as a great grandson had a visual witness of the stones. As of 1990s, when we went back to get pictures of the stones, the now owner of the property had let his cows roam over the graves and the stones are no longer there. The property is right behind the Garfield community buildings which sits on the highway.
