The deceased was the daughter of James and Marcella James and was one of a family of twelve children. All of her life was lived in this locality save two years which she spent in Clinton County. On September 19 1877 she was united in marriage to John M Forlow. Mr Forlow departed this life almost eight years ago October 4 1931.
To bless this home five children were born. Of these three preceded Mrs Forlow in death. Florence R Lauchner June 25 1924 Jesse M on October 1 1924 and Margaret A Mitchell on July 28 1936.
Mrs Forlow was a member of the Burlington Brethern Church having made the good confession in the early years of her life in the Salem Brethern Church. She was a kind hearted and thoughtful mother and may cherished pleasant memories of her.
These surviving to mourn her departure from this earthly life are the eldest child James who resides on his mother's farm and the third child Mrs Addie Peters Madison Indiana and twenty seven grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren and also one sister Mrs Florence R Forlow of Burlington Indiana.
Funeral services conducted from the Ball Hill M E Church by Rev. Clarence Y Gilmer Pastor of the Burlington Brethern Church. Burial is the Ball Hill Cemetery.
