MILLVILLE -- Graveside services for Aaron William Pierson, 83, of Oak Run will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Millville Cemetery.

Pastor David K. Sanders of the Palo Cedro Seventh-Day Adventist Church will officiate.

Mr. Pierson died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital in Redding.

Born Nov. 20, 1898 in Keyesport, Illinois, he moved to Shasta County in 1937 from Red Bluff and was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Palo Cedro.

He is survived by wife Roberta; daughter, Maxine Carr of Yuba City; sons, AaronJr. of Palo Cedro and Vernon of Pacifica; sisters, Ellen Curnow and Floy Hutchinson, both of St. Helena; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding is handling arrangements.
