He was born August 1, 1925 in Westfield, NY to Alfonzo and Josephine (Dina) Caci.
Formerly from Buffalo, New York, Mr. Caci has lived in the Palm Springs area for over thirty years to be close to his late brother Charles (Bobby Milano).
He had owned his own construction company in Erie, PA and was also the owner of a restaurant and night club in New York and California.
He was well known for his cartoon drawings, whether they were on a table cloth, napkin, or a drawing board which he would give to children sitting nearby. He had a natural sense of humor and a cleaver wit.
He is survived by his son Joseph Caci, also of Palm Springs; grandson Vincent Kamuda of Buffalo, NY; great-grandson Nathanial Kamuda; his sister Concetta (Joseph) Leto of Buffalo, NY; and dear and caring family friend Betty Battista of Palm Springs. His daughter Josephine (late Joseph) Kamuda passed away in 2002.
He is predeceased by his parents Alfonzo and Josephine (Dina) Caci; brothers and sisters Alfred (late Jenny) Caci; Antoinette (Nicholas) Valenti; Santina (late Vincent) Calabro; Jerry (late Carmela) Caci; Salvatore (Patricia) Caci; and Clara (late Joseph) Marranca all of Buffalo, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m., at the Ramon Chapel, Forest Lawn, Cathedral City, CA.
Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY.
