SEBREE — Lee Edward Melton, 96, Sebree, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
He was a member of Sebree United Methodist Church and was retired from the Kentucky Highway Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Nettie Hankins Melton.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Maggie West Melton; one daughter, Marilyn Oldham of Sebree; one son, Mike Melton of Sebree; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree. The Rev. James Shuck will officiate. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery in Sebree.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Sebree United Methodist Church Building Fund.
