Pat graduated from Bishop Duffy High School, Niagara County Community College and from Niagara University. He was employed with UNIFRAX for many years and later as a Production Supervisor at APP Pharmaceuticals, on Grand Island, for over 10 years. Pat enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, visiting his cabin, traveling, the outdoors, playing tennis, attending rock concerts (especially Neil Young) and micro brew festivals.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Barbara J. [Newman] Hogan, (married on September 29, 1979), three daughters Stacey L. (Brian) Markovich of the Town of Niagara, Erin Patricia Hogan of Manhattan and Ashley M. (Michael Baxter) Hogan of Wheatfield, three sisters Mary Bunting, Sheila (Richard) Bunnell and Kathleen (Tim) Taylor, son in law of John and Kay Newman. He is also survived by many loving brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pat was the brother of the late Paul A. Hogan, Jr. The family will be present at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, on Friday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM and Saturday, from 2-4 PM, where funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to the Leukemia Society.
