Kenneth Adamson, 83, of Westfield, passed away March 29, 2009. He was born on May 21, 1925 in Brownsville, PA. Ken retired from the Marion County Health Department. He also pastored local churches for a several years. He was a veteran of the US Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by several brothers; one sister and daughter, Valerie. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years; Thelma; two children, Lydia (Dennis) Vandevender and Timothy Adamson; four grandchildren, Evan and Trevor Vandevender and Joshua and Jarryd Jeffries. Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 4-8 p.m. in Leppert Mortuary, Smith Carmel Chapel where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2nd at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Summit Lawn Cemetery.
