Addie Bowers Higgins, 61, of Kirby died at 3:15 a.m. Friday, February 28, 1975 in the Monongalia General Hospital at Morgantown, W. Va. She had not been in good health for some time.
She was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Carrie John Bowers and had spent all her life in the Kirby area where she was a member of the Kirby United Methodist Church.
Her husband, John W. (Sheriff) Higgins died January 29, 1971.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Higgins Herrington of Kirby and one son, Elmer Higgins of Garretsville, Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
One sister, Mrs. Harold (Evelyn) Eslinger of Oxen Hill, Md. and one brother, Charles E. Bowers of Kirby.
