Susannah Mary Nida was one of my great, great, great grandmothers. She was also a daughter of Peter von Nida and Elizabeth Shuck.

She was married to James Clark on Sep. 1, 1823, in Giles County, Virginia. This marriage produced at least six known children. There may have been others.

Exactly when she passed away we do not know. We do know that she was recorded on the 1860 census of Fabius twp., in Schuyler County, MO., which was conducted on June 30, 1860. And we also know that she predeceased her husband, James Clark, as there was no mention of her in any of his various Probate and Estate records in Schuyler County, MO. So she apparently died sometime during the period between July 1, 1860 and June 1866 (when James Clark died).
