Franklin Ashley, 30, of 94 Riverside Dr., South Charleston, died Thursday in Weston Hospital after a short illness. He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in South Charleston and a veteran of the Korean conflict.

Surviving are his widow, Priscilla; a son, Mark Russell at home; two daughters, Mellissa and Kimberley, both at home; two brothers, Carlos of Charlotte, N. C. and Jack of Torrance, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Betty Davidson of Torrance, Calif.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ashley of South Charleston; and the grandparents, Mrs. Margaret Newsome of South Charleston and Ernest Ashley of Charleston.

Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Snodgrass Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Henson. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
