Elois L. Bader
Mar. 20, 1922 - Aug. 26. 2009
Elois was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother and friend to so many during her nearly 70 years in the community. She was born and raised in Moffat, Colorado, the daughter of Ethel and Arthur Biggs. She enjoyed a marvelous childhood growing up with her 4 brothers and 3 sisters playing sports and riding horses in the San Luis Valley.
After graduating from high school in 1940 Elois moved to Colorado Springs to attend a beauty college. The following March, at a dance, she met the love of her life, Allen Bader, and two months later they started their 58 years marriage. In time they were blessed with one son, Gary Allen Bader, and one daughter, Patricia Ann Bader.
Elois was indeed a remarkable lady. She will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, her adventurous spirit, her love of children and her faith.
Elois is preceded in death by her husband Allen.
Elois will be truly missed and remembered by not only her family but members of her bridge group, Daughters of the Nile and many friends and neighbors,
Visitation will be on Monday August 31, 2009 from 4-7 at Memorial Gardens with the funeral service at 10 am on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Memorial Gardens, at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to be sent to Sol Amor Hospice.
