Mrs. Ann Taylor, 101, Dies At Home Southeast of Columbiana.

Columbiana County lost one of its oldest residents in the death of Mrs. Ann Taylor, widow of Joseph Taylor, who died Tuesday (December 4, 1923) morning following a few weeks illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clinton Chamberlain, southeast of Columbiana. Had she lived until Feb. 2, she would have been 101 years old.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Chester County, Pa., and came to this county when young. She had spent her life in the community in which she died. She was a sister of Mrs. Mary H. Justice of this city, whose death occurred in September. She was an aunt of Miss Martha Justice of Salem.

Surviving are five children; Mrs. Chamberlain, at whose home she died, Mrs. Albert Farmer, Mrs. Rachel Moore, Elmer Taylor, all of that vicinity, and Mrs. Curtis Whitacre of Los Angeles.

The funeral at 2 p.m. Thursday will be at the Chamberlain home. (The Salem News, Salem, OH. December 5, 1923)
