DEASON, Anne Rye "Miss Anne"Age 92, Dickson, TN. January 18, 2011 at Horizon Medical Center. Born in Houston County she was the daughter of the late William Wesley and Mary Lena Perry Rye. Preceded in death by her sister, Hazel Warrick and great niece, Jennifer Dyann Stone. Widow of the late Warren Deason. Miss Anne's career lasted "Half of a Century" as business manager of the former Jackson Clinic and Goodlark Hospital. She also worked with Horizon Medical Center formerly Goodlark and worked with the Renaissance Center. She served on the Board of Directors of the Jackson Foundation and Goodlark Educational Foundation and the Advisory Committee of the Classic Gold Travel Club. Miss Anne was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Dickson where she was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Survivors include her sister, Wilmoth Elizabeth Birdseye of Madison, TN; her nieces, Judith Caneer of Hendersonville, TN, Alice Williams of Yucca Valley CA, Rebecca Carey of Hermitage, and Norma Stevens of Old Hickory; her great nieces and nephews, Tonya Miller, Tera Cania, Ben Dunn, Jr., Ron Stone, Jr. Jeremy Thomas Stone, Gina Street and Galina Osborne; several great great nieces and nephews and two great great great nieces. Her remains are in the care of the Taylor Funeral Home, Dickson, TN where visitation will be Thurs. Jan. 20th, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Fri. Jan. 21st from 12 Noon til time of service. A service of Hope, Remembrance and Resurrection will be conducted Friday afternoon, Jan. 21st at 1 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Allen Weller officiating. Those desiring, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Active casket bearers will be nephews. Honorary will be Dr. Bill Jackson, Dr. Roger Jackson, Dr. Ronald Luplow, Dr. Jeff Gordon, Dr. Eldred Wiser, Dr. Dan Drinnen, Doug Jackson, Dr. David Blazer, Ray Dorschel and Dr. Tommy Jackson.
