Marta Robles Galindo 80, born and raised in Pirtleville, Ariz. and entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in Glendale, AZ.
Marta was a homemaker, and her husband Rafael was retired from the Douglas Phelps Dodge Copper Smelter. Her husband Rafael precedes her in death along with her parents Francisco and Romula Robles, and brothers Gilberto, Jose and Gregorio Robles. Marta is survived by her four children: Grace (Gabe) Huba of Ohio, Josie (Edward) Rivera of Douglas, AZ, Tony (Rachel) Galindo of St. David, AZ and Fernando Galindo of Peoria, AZ. She is also survived by her brothers Jesus (Alicia) Robles of Tucson, AZ, Frank (Olga) Robles of Douglas, AZ; sisters Magdalena Martinez and Carmen Carrillo both of Phoenix, AZ and her sister-in-law Hortencia Garcia of Waddell, AZ.
Marta leaves behind five grandchildren, Edward and Estevan Rivera of Tucson, AZ, Lorraine (Victor) Florez of Tucson, AZ, Nathan (Elizabeth) Huba of Florida, Lydia (David) Mancilla of Ohio and three great granddaughters. A Rosary followed by a Mass of the Resurrection was held on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Pirtleville, AZ. Marta was laid to rest at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pirtleville following her services."
