Ralph Ball was born five miles west of Crystal Falls. His grandparents, John Thomas Ball and Emma Jane Ball, came to Stephens County in 1886. They settled 10 miles north of Breckenridge. He went to school at Snake Den and Crystal Falls. He had dedicated most of his life living for the service of Jesus Christ and gave thanks daily for the Lord's mercy on his life. His testimony and presence will be greatly missed.
He married Leona Dumas on 14 September 1935.
Mr. Ball was a United Postal rural route carrier from 1976-1995 when he retired. He had been a rancher, policeman and dozer owener / operator. He quilted at the Senior Citizen Center. He was a member of the Crystal Falls Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and his brother - John T. Ball.
