Funeral services for Calvin J. Earl, 66, Coos Bay, will be held at 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Oct. 10 at Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. Howard
Thompson of Bunker Hill Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment
will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the
direction of Coos Bay Chapel.
He was born July 9, 1924, in Tillamook, and died Oct. 7, 1990, at Coos
Bay.
Mr. Earl has been a resident of Coos Bay since 1936. He attended
Marshfield High School until World War II started and enlisted in the
Navy. He retired in 1981 from Coos Head Lumber where he had worked
for 21 years and most of those were on their pond.
He married Marilyn Roberts at North Bend in July 1953.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Earl of Coos Bay; a son, Jared Earl of
Coos Bay; brother Alvin Earl of Molalla; sister, Edith Earl of Dallas;
Granddaughter, Amber Earl of Coos Bay.
