She was a lifelong resident of Lima and was married to A. L. Ransbottom, who died April 2, 1955. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, the Ruth Bible Class, Woman's Christian Temperance Union, Woman's Relief Corps and the Floral Guild.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. M. J. Smith, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Miller Howell, Wapakoneta, and Mrs. Miner H. Kerr, 1144 Brice Ave. and a granddaughter, whom she raised, Mrs. E. L. Howison, 2268 Shawnee Road; five other grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body will remain in the Lewis Funeral Home for services at 2 p.m. Monday in the Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Dr. J. Ira Jones will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
