Mr. Ransbottom, who lived at 1210 W. Market St., had been in the real estate business in Lima about 25 years prior to his retirement many years ago. He was born Jan. 23, 1867, in Allen County and was a member of the Grace Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widow, Alice V., at home; three daughters, Mrs. M. J. Smith, 1317 W. Market St.; Mrs. M. H. Kerr, 1144 Brice Ave.; Mrs. Miller Howell, Wapakoneta, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body will remain in the Lewis Funeral Home for services at 3:30 p.m. Monday in the Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Vernon Van Buren will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
