ALEXANDER, KENNETH G., 79, of Jeffersontown, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011, at his home.

He was retired from Belknap Hardware and Tom Brooks Associates, an Army veteran of the Korean conflict and a member of Jeffersontown Baptist Church.

Mr. Alexander is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jeanette Ginn Alexander; son, Kenneth R. Alexander; daughter, Jeanine Hatton ( Joe); brothers, Glenford and Buford Alexander; sister, Doris Brown; grandchildren, Jason Alexander (Amber) and Jill and Alex Hatton; and great-grandchildren, Jackson, Gavin and Mia Alexander.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Foreman's, 10600 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown, with burial in the Bedford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts may be made to the J. Graham Brown Cancer Center.
