Jacob H. Blitsch, 85, of the Milner Hotel, died at 11:05 p. m. Wednesday at the Woodlawn Convalescent Home.

Mr. Blitsch was born July 25, 1874, in Eagle Twp., the son of John and Elizabeth Blitsch. He married Violet Thayer April 9, 1913, at Omaha, Neb. She preceded him in death in 1948.

He was an auto salesman from 1908 to 1914, then farmed until his retirement in 1949. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Rollin, of Buckingham, two sisters, Mrs. Christina Walsh, 611 W. 5th St., and Mrs. Lizzie Witry, Rt. 1, and a brother, Christopher, of Buckingham.
