Emmett L. Carroll, 78, of 1701 W. Fair Ave., died Wednesday, 3 July, 1984 at the residence.
Emmett was born June 12, 1906 to Elmer Hendren and Cora May (Wallace) Carroll in Lowman, Wetzel county, West Virgina. Emmett & wife Clarisa E. (Carpenter) Carroll were married July 28, 1926 in Carbon Hill, Hocking county, Ohio.
A retired assistant supervisor at Anchor Hocking Plant One and member of Fifth Avenue Church of Christ, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clarisa, and sister, Wilda Dupler.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., in the chapel of the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home; Rev. Jack Combs officiating; burial in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Hocking County.
Friends may call Friday after noon, and until services Saturday at the funeral home.
