Virgie Marie Fleming, 93, retired clerk for Roper Drug Store and homemaker, died August 12, 2011 at her residence. Member of Brighton Church of Christ. Survivied by her daughter-in-law, Harriet Fleming of Covington. Step-daughter; Nita (Alton) Curtis of Brighton. Step-son; Don (Barbara) Fleming of Covington. Three grandchildren; David Curtis, Connie Ballard, and Karen Whitehead. Six great-granddaughters. Ms Virgie was the widow of Mr. Donnie V. Fleming. Preceeded in death by her son, Dale V. Fleming. Three sisters and three brothers. Visitation will be Monday from 2:30 until 4:30. Funeral service will be Monday, August 15, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. all at Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Interment will be in Covington Memorial Garden.
