Marriage to Julia (Anderson) West was documented by the marriage license and certificate from Sweet Grass Co., Montana; FHL film 1949498, Book 1, page 182:

"You are hereby authorized to join in lawful wedlock and to celebrate within this County the rites and ceremonies of Marriage between Oscar B. Curtis of Big Timber, Montana, aged 44 years, born in the State of Michigan, color white, son of Benjamin Curtis, his mother's maiden name was Lavantia Card, and Julia West of Big Timber, Montana, aged 38 years, born at Utah, color white, daughter of Peter Anderson, her mother's maiden name was Larena Peterson, this shall be your good and sufficient warrant thereafter.

Signed 17 December 1904.

Marriage Certificate read, "This certifies that the undersigned, a Clergyman did, on the 21st day of December 1904, at Big Timber join in lawful wedlock Mr. Oscar B. Curtis and wife Julia West, with their mutual consent and in accordance with the law."
