Vicky Kay Hubbard, 49, of Elkhart, IL, passed away at 10:25 a.m. on July 20, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Mrs. Hubbard was a personnel manager at Wal-Mart, Lincoln where she worked for the past 29 years.
She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. She was born July 14, 1961 in Lincoln, IL, the daughter of Richard and Gloria K. Beaver Anderson. She married Kevin Hubbard on September 25, 1982 in Lincoln, IL. She is survived by her husband of Elkhart, IL; one son: Kolby Hubbard of Elkhart, IL; two brothers: Richard L. "Rick" (Cindy) Anderson of Hartsburg, IL and Kerry (Carla) Anderson of Beason, IL; two sisters: Penny (Steve) Starling of Dawson, IL; Tammy Langley of Lincoln, IL; Many nieces and nephews and also by her beloved pets: Ozzy, Socks and Ringo. She was preceded in death by her parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Services for Mrs. Hubbard will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 24 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. It was Vicky's wishes that everyone dress casual for the service. Interment will be at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Logan County Humane Society.
