He died from old age complications. He came to Nebraska 78 years ago with his parents to Saunders county where they homesteaded near Ashland. He was survived by his wife, 1 son Vern at Norfolk, 1 daughter Mrs. Stella Mahoney at Norfolk, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 brothers: William and Royal both at Norfolk. He was preceded in death by 1 son, 1 daughter.
