Elizabeth Ann "Betty or MeeMaw" Braddy 76, of Belvedere, SC passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 with her family at her side. Mrs. Braddy lived most of her life in Winston-Salem, NC, where she was retired after 30 years of nursing. MeeMaw loved the water, music & her 'babies'. Mrs. Braddy is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John Henry Braddy; her son and daughter-in-law, Allen Dennis and Chris Braddy, of Belvedere, SC; two sisters, Lillian Rosas of Greenville, TX and Carol Smith of Macon, GA; one sister-in-law, Martha Cook of Milledgeville, GA; eight precious grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving son, Jonathan Leslie Braddy. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2011 in the Telfair Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
