Mrs. E. O. Hopper of Ness City, Kansas, died at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Adams, at Granger Monday, October 8, at 11:45 p.m.

Mrs. Hopper had been visiting her father, W. G. Grinstead, and other relatives in Scotland County for the past six weeks. The Adams girl heard Mrs. Hopper fall out of bed in an effort to get up. She called her mother and father and before they could reach her, Mrs. Hopper died.
