Mrs. Jordan died Monday at 9:05 p.m. at Ball Memorial Hospital of injuries suffered January 14 when she was struck by the automobile driven at Jackson and Mulberry Sts., by John Randall, 1025 Kirby Ave.
Mr. Randall told police at the time he reported the accident that Mrs. Jordan stepped in front of his automobile as he started with the change of the traffic light at the Mulberry and Jackson Sts. intersection. He was not held.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Beech Grove Chapel and burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by four sons, Fred M. Jordan of Gilroy, Calif., C.S. Jordan of Shirley, P.E. Jordan and E. Ray Jordan, both of Muncie; a sister, Mrs. Laura Ledbetter, Hagerstown; two brothers, Elwood Cain, Richmond, and Wilson Cain, Connersville; and eight grandchildren.
