Rites Held for Casey Officer, Ernest Blood
CASEY — Funeral services for Ernest Blood, 39, Casey policeman, who died suddenly Tuesday night following a stroke of apoplexy, were conducted in Methodist church at 2 p. m. Thursday by Rev. Leland L. Lawrence. Burial was in the cemetery at Kansas, where he lived as a child. Burial was in charge of the Casey American Legion, in which he was an active member while the Casey band, of which he was a member, played at the funeral services.
Mr. Blood leaves his father, Otto E., and a brother, Charles.
