Mrs. Mary Bell Begerow, prominent Lake Odessa woman, died at her farm home Sunday, just 15 days before her 70th birthday anniversary. She had been ill for seven weeks. She married Charles Begerow 49 years ago.

For the past 50 years she had been a member of the First United Brethren church. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors.

Surviving are the husband, Charles; three daughters, Mrs. Cora Knapp of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Jennie Brock of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Bertha Allen of Belding; three sons, Fred of Grand Rapids, Nelson of Lake Odessa, and James at home; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Rachael Lepard of Lake Odessa; and two brothers, Bert Bell of Charlotte and Charles Bell of Tyler, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the First Methodist United Brethren church. Rev. C. H. Zuse of Barrington will officiate and interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
