Betty L. Wyant, 70, of Knoxville and formerly of Sparta, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord Friday, August 12, 2011.

Born February 4, 1941 in Zion, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Thad and Edyth Duren Huddleston. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sparta.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Wyant; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Brooke Wyant and Mike and Cindy Wyant; daughter, Jennifer Wyant Johnson; grandchildren, Jordyn, Dylan, Taylor, Colby, Keaton, Chase, Reese and Peyton; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Cindy Huddleston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Toni and Mike Carver, Janice Huddleston, and Thadise and Lewis Hoffman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Eloise Huddleston Holick.

The family received friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel in Knoxville with funeral services at 7:30 p.m. and Dr. Larry Fields officiating.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 21, 2011 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Sidney, Arkansas with a graveside service to follow. Local arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne, Arkansas.

The family requests memorials to be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Knoxville, John D. Lee Administrative Building, 220 Carrick Street, Suite 318, Knoxville, TN 37921 ([email protected]).
