OBITUARY
Mary Jane Pinkerton, daughter of Samuel and Eliza Pinkerton was born at Peoria Ill., Aug. 20, 1854. She died quite suddenly Apr. 25, 1931, age 76 years, 8 mos. and 5 days.
On Jan. 16, 1872 she was united in marriage to Randolph Glasgow. In 1882 they moved to Clarinda, Iowa and then in 1902 to Kansas where she has since resided. Mr. Glasgow departed this life Apr. 21, 1929. In her youth Mrs. Glasgow united with the United Presbyterian church of Bethel, Ill., and has been one of the loyal members and supporters of the United Presbyterian church ever since.
There remains to mourn her loss, 3 brothers and 2 sisters- five children, Albert of Ellston, Iowa, Mrs. Mae Hart of Summerfield, Walter of Vliets, Kans., Chas. of Summerfield and Mrs. Minnie Glick of Wathena, Kans.; also 18 grandchildren and a host of friends.
