George Wesley Olds owned and operated the General Store in Middlefield and was Town Clerk for 45 years, Town Treasurer for 33 years, member of the Planning Board for 35 years, Past Master of the Grange, Men's Club, Highland Agricultural Society and the Masons.

George and Grace were married on October 10, 1925 in Middlefield MA.
