Chrystal Sophia Garlick Welsh, age 83, passed away in a Bountiful care center, September 9, 1993.

She was born October 31, 1909 in Fairview, Utah to Erastus and Minnie Melinda Larsen Garlick. Married Leon B. Welsh, September 22, 1936 in Salt Lake City.

She was an active member, LDS Church. Past president of Painters Local #77, Ladies' Auxiliary. She loved to cook, fish and bowl, and in later years spent time caring for Easter Seal children.

Survived by a daughter, Carleen Durantos, Riverton; a son, James Leon Welsh, Bountiful; grandchildren, John Durantos, Dean Durantos, Robert Strom, Corky Welsh and Riki Welsh; brothers, Ray Garlick, Nephi, Utah; Ward Garlick, Riverside, Calif.; sister, Velma Sykes, Salt Lake City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son, granddaughter and two brothers.

Graveside services will be Monday, September 13, 1993 at 10 a.m. at the Coalville City Cemetery, Coalville, Utah. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m.
