The Body of Mrs. Sarah UNANGST, who died in California last Friday, arrived in the city today. The funeral will be held at the Normal church Friday at 2 p.m.

The death of Mrs. Sarah Unangst occurred Friday, September 19, at the home of her son, Judge Edwin P. Unangst, at San Luis Obispo, Cal. Sarah Hartzell was born April 23, 1835, at Easton, PA., where she spent her girlhood. In August, 1856, she was married to Jacob S. Unangst. During his service in the war their home was in New Jersey. In 1872 they moved to Nebraska, settling on a farm near Lincoln where College View is now located. They build a home in Normal in 1903, moving there form the farm in October. Mr. Unangst died in December of that year and for several years Mrs. Unangst and her daughter, Elsie, lived in the Normal home, removing to Texas in 1909. A few months after the daughter's death Mrs. Unangst went to Berkley, Cal. To make her home with another daughter, Mrs. D. R. Tuttle. At the time of her death she was visiting her son at San Luis Obispo, where she passed away after an illness of five weeks. The remains, accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Tuttle, arrived in Lincoln Thursday afternoon. The funeral services were held Friday form the church at Normal, many relatives and old time friends being present to pay tribute to her memory. Rev. Mr. Shoaf, now of Rising City, and a former pastor of the family, conducted the services. Burial was in Wyuka beside her husband. Mrs. Unangst was the mother of seven children, tow of whom died in childhood, and Elsie, who died in Texas March 21, 1912; surviving her are one daughter, Mrs. D. R. Tuttle of Sebastopol, Cal.; three sons, Edwin P. of San Luis Obispo, Cal.; George F. and William E. of Sinton, Tex. One sister and three brothers survive; Mrs. Jacob Fisher, Dunellen, N. J.; William H. Hartzell, Easton, PA.; B. F. Hartzell, Logan, Neb., and G. C. Hartzell of Lincoln.
