Agnes Ivalee Annen February 18, 1917 - January 23, 2009
PORTLAND - Agnes was born to Robert and Elizabeth (Dowd) Conry in Oberlin, Kansas. She married Joseph Annen on October 11, 1958 and they moved to the area. Agnes was a Railroad Agent for the Burlington Railroad in Kansas and attended Fort Hayes College in Kansas. She belonged to the Mt. Angel garden club and enjoyed gardening, church and visiting with friends. Agnes is preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, and a brother. She is survived by her sister, Adeline Susa of Woodburn; and several nieces and nephews. Contributions can be made to Calvary Cemetery or Mt. Angel Library in care of Unger Funeral Chapel. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mt. Angel. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
