Besides her husband, those who will miss their wonderful mother are eight children who were at her bedside during her last illness. All marveled at her patience, shown during more than three years of a complication of illnesses. The children are Juanita Ledford of Green Castle, Mo., Hazel Stephens of Linneus, Mo., Johnny Musgrave of Newtown, Mo., Nelson Musgrave and Evelyn Miller of Milan, Mo., Clarabelle Stevenson of Wichita, Kas., Brian Musgrave of Kansas City, and Marion Musgrave of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Grandchildren, numbering 13, will also lovingly remember her desire to be a real grandmother. Other loved ones are a brother, Charles McCalley of Humphreys; and a sister, Sarah Grainger of Miles City, Mont. One sister, Ethel Jacobs, preceded her in death in 1938, and a baby sister many years ago. Many nieces, nephews and friends will miss her cheerful smile but they can meet her after awhile, when they too have gone life's long last mile.
Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church in Humphreys by Rev. Tiahrt of Princeton." The Milan Republican (Milan, Missouri), April 4, 1946
