Charles L. Granger, former resident of Breckenrdige, passed away at his daughter's home in Galveston, Texas
Granger was a pioneer of Breckenridge coming here in 1919 and leaving in 1942 to make his home in Dallas. He lived with his son there until 1944 when he moved to Gonzales, Texas to spend his last days with his brother, Willie Granger. He brother passed away in September 1946. In February 1947, he was taken to his daughter's home.
Survived by twin daughters - Mrs. J.E. English and Mrs. Lillian Mae Hash; four sons - George F., Ted, William of Austin, Monroe S. Granger; two nephews - E. Granger and Barnes Granger; two nieces - Mary Eune and Mrs. Alice Little, J.B. Granger; 17 grandchildren.
