DIED : CLARK - At Milltown, Me., August 3rd, Maria A., relict of the late Amos Clark, aged 84 years, 4 months. (St. Croix Courier, August 7, 1902)

In the 1900 U.S. Census, widow Sarah M. Hamilton, 64, born October 1865 in Maine, was living with her widowed mother Mary A. Clark, 83, born March, 1817 in Maine; and sister Carrie E. Clark, 48, born October, 1854 in Maine. Mary had eight children, and six were still alive. Sarah and one child and none were alive.

In the 1880 U.S. Census, widow Mary A. Clark, 63, born Maine, parents born Maine, was living in Calais, Maine, with widower son Eugene B., 38; daughter and straw milliner Carrie D., 29; son and boot and shoe dealer Judson S., 24; daughter-in-law Izetta, 19; and granddaughter Mary, one month, all born in Maine

Husband Amos died May 1, 1879, in Calais.

Son Henry died April 1867, in Calais.

In the 1860 U.S. Census, Amos Clark, 52, born Maine, was living in the 1st Ward, Calais, Maine with Mary A. Clark, 43; Alice B., 21; Eugene, 17; Henry H., 15; and Harriet E., 7; and Judson S., 3, all born in Maine.

In the 1850 U.S. Census, shoemaker Amos Clark, 40, born Maine is living in Calais, Maine with Mary Ann, 33; Sarah M., 14; Alice D., 12; Eugene B., 8; Henry H., 6; and Ida A.(Abigail J.), 3, all born in Maine. Living with them was laborer Thomas Long, 21, of England; shoemaker John Pine, 34, of Pennsylvania; shoemaker George Henry, 30, of N.B.; and Mary Jane Staples, 24, of Maine.

George Hallet Clark was born February 5, 1841 and died on March 12, 1841.
