Obituary:

Dr. and Mrs. Clyde Moore of Long Beach, Calif., and the former's nephew, Leland Moore of Lafayette, Colo., arrived here on Thursday with the remains of Dr. Moore's mother, Mrs. Henry N. Moore, and it was committed to its last resting place in the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery, by the side of the husband and father, who died in 1908.

The remains arrived in Lincoln early Sunday morning, and were brought out to the Chain & Wood mortuary in Seward, where a brief service was conducted by Rev. Donald E. Springer at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. A group of old friends assembled as a mark of respect to the memory of the departed.

Mrs. Moore was 90 years, 8 months and 2 days of age. She removed from Seward to Scottsbluff about thirty years ago. She had lived in Long Beach the past seven years, and was active up to her last sickness, maintaining her own home and caring for her flowers.

There were two sons, Clyde and Porter. The latter died in Colorado several years ago. Clyde had not been in Seward for 24 years but found a large number of old friends during his short stay.

Leland Moore, the nephew of Clyde and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Moore, was also the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Remington, on his mother's side. Mr. Remington served as a member of the Nebraska legislature back in 1895, and as county treasurer of Seward county from 1898 to 1902. He died in 1917. The grandson visited their graves in Greenwood cemetery while here. He left Thursday on the return trip to Lafayette, while Dr. and Mrs. Moore accompanied Mrs. Guy Cooper and Cloid Cooper, cousins, to their home at Beaver Crossing, leaving from there Friday morning for the return to Long Beach.
