Mona Nowland Sparks, 92, passed away at the Bear Lake Skilled Nursing Facility in Montpelier, July 26, 1996, after a lingering illness. She had been in the nursing facility for the past 7 years. She was born to William Perry Nowland and Edith Georgina Bird in Dingle January 28, 1904. She had lived in Dingle all her adult life. She attended schools in …illegible due to poor film quality
In the Salt Lake Temple. He passed away on Nov. 12, 1942. She was preceded in death by a daughter Helen, son John William, a granddaughter Wendy, her parents, 2 sisters Arvilla Bird and Jennie Kunz.
Mona is survived by 9 children, Melba Johnson, Elliott Eugene (Rusty) Allan Dale (Pudge) of Montpelier, Dean Boyd and Sandra Hartley of Spanish Fork, Mardell Nolan of St. George, Georgia Carol of Springdale, Wash., Jean Lloyd and JoAn Koeven of Dingle. also 30 grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held ..day, July 30, in the Dingle Chapel.
Burial was in the Dingle Cemetery.
